Error or Warning Message

MicroStation CONNECT does not install as a different Beta version was found.

When trying to uninstall the Beta version this process also fails.

How to Avoid

1. In order to uninstall the Beta version, we need first to uninstall the CONNECTION Client from Control Panel\Programs and Features.

2. After uninstalling CONNECTION Client uninstall MicroStation CONNECT Beta version

3. Install MicroStation CONNECT

In the event that MicroStation CONNECT Beta version do not uninstall try to do a repair from Control Panel\Programs and features and then try again.

Cleaning the registry

Note: The steps here below should be only followed by IT specialists and with the approval of your IT department.

If you still experience the beta error, please delete this registry key: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Bentley\BundleCustomRelationShip”

if all of the above does not solve the problem please contact Technical Support an provide the exception logs for review (by default on the temp folder)
