Graphical filters have been set up to assist in the process of extracting utilities from linestrings. For more info on how to use the Extract from Graphic tool to extract Utilities please see this wiki page, Extracting Utilities
The filters have been set up with the follow default depths and sizes.
If you would like to change these defaults you can do this on a project by project basis by following the below steps.
1. Open the utility basemap where the extraction will happen.
2. If a Drainage and Utilities Project has not been created in this file yet, then you will have to do this by selecting Drainage and Utilities tools like Extract from Graphic)
3. Next open the Filter manager. (if a Drainage and Utilities project has not been created in this file yet, you will have to do this)
4. Now copy the All utilities Filter group from the OHDOT_Features_DrainageAndUtilities.dgnlib and paste into the active file section.
Now you have a copy of the utility filters that can be edited.
5.Now you can select a filter and change the vertical offset or the size (Description)
