Problem:
I want to create a hole inside a space. What is the procedure to do that?
Solution:
1. First create the shape where the Space is to be assigned. For example a circle in this case.
2. Then crate the shape of the hole inside that shape. For example a rectangle in this case.
3. Then click on the Space button.
4. Select Flood Area in the Place By option under the Placement Tab. Then toggle on the Minimum Hole Size button.
5. Then follow the prompts at the left bottom side of the screen and select the view (View 1 in this case) on which you want to apply this. Then select the region by left-clicking. In this case, the region is the area in between the circle and the rectangle. Then do a right click to exit.
6. Thus, the Space is placed. Now, if you go to the Element Selection tool and click on the Space placed, it will only highlight the area outside the rectangle and inside the circle. In this way, a rectangular hole is created inside the circular Space.
