"Bentley OpenPLANT Isometrics Manager not found"... message appears when configuring AutoPIPE Licens

Problem:

The following appears in AutoPIPE when trying to create Stress Isometric:

Why and How to resolve?

Solution:

  1. Do you plan to generate a Stress Isometric?
  2. Do you have user entitlements to license AutoPIPE Advanced or AutoPIPE Nuclear?

If Yes to both questions,

Yes, we/I plan to generate a Stress Isometric drawing from an AutoPIPE Model. Therefore, as the message above indicated, OPIM has not been installed. Remember that OPIM is a different application than AutoPIPE with a completely different installer. Therefore, at anytime, download OPIM separately from AutoPIPE and manually install OPIM from the newly downloaded OPIM file. 

Install OPIM. 

Under "How do I download, install, and license AutoPIPE?"> select a hyperlink from list of available versions> click on hyperlink for "Step #1: Download. This page provide details to download and install some dependencies required by AutoPIPE, one of which is OPIM (OpenPlant Isometric Manager).

Create a Stress Isometric with OPIM is only available if user has entitlements for AutoPIPE Advance and/or AutoPIPE Nuclear.

No additional charges are added to the account so long as the AutoPIPE user always access OPIM from within AutoPIPE (i.e  File> Isometric> Save stress isometric or OpenPlant isometric Manager). Never open OPIM directly or double click a drawing file to open it in OPIM as this could count as usage of OPIM.

If OPIM is installed, confirm version of OPIM does not exceed that version number listed as a dependency for the version of AutoPIPE being used (see version readme file)

Example: AutoPIPE 12.00.00.14 has a dependency of OPIM 08.11.11.294. Therefore, do not install a higher version of OPIM with out expressed instructions from AutoPIPE technical support team. If this is the case, uninstall the current version of OPIM, download and install the version of the program listed in AutoPIPE's release notes here.

No, AutoPIPE Advanced or AutoPIPE Nuclear entitlements are missing. Please contact you Account Manager and ask that AutoPIPE Advance / AutoPIPE Nuclear entitlements to be added. Until then suggest not using these AutoPIPE commands:
