Let say that a given model has a number of segments A-F and there are 3 different states / patterns that segments are either hidden or shown. How does one quickly transition between each state / pattern?
Example, quickly transition between these states:
When you want to have the pattern 1(segments A and B are shown and the others are hidden) on AutoPIPE, copy the cells: B2 to B7 and paste them on the Show column on the Segment tab.
The steps are below:
1. Copy from B2 to B7 above.
2. Click the first cell in the top row of the column just below 'Show' on the Segment tab and press 'Ctrl+V' or right mouse click "Paste Cells".
3. Then the flag values from B2 to B7 are pasted on the Show as indicated above. The pattern 1 you want(only A and B segments are on the screen) has been obtained on the screen.
4. When you want to have the state / pattern 2 (segments C, D and E are shown and the others are hidden), copy the cells: C2 to C7 and repeat 2 and 3 above.
5. When you want to have the state / pattern 3 (segments F would be shown and the others are hidden), copy the cells: D2 to D7 and repeat 2 and 3 above.
Note: Copied 1 from excel atop an AutoPIPE check box enables that box, while a 0, disables that box. Therefore the excel file is just the same corresponding rows of 0's and 1's to represent a particular segment will be either On or Off.
