The following is displayed when using AutoPIPE
W726-10: User SIF required at junction at following point(s)...
A02
Why and How to avoid it?
As stated by the message, AutoPIPE Code calculations does not cover an SIF calculation for a junction at the indicated points (ex. A02). Suggest to calculate the SIF value outside of AutoPIPE or ask the component manufacture for an SIF value. Enter the User SIF as Joint End type = User Defined and enter the calculated SIF values. Consider using "Override all..." check box option, see AutoPIPE help for details on this feature.
Example:
Note, if the override option is not used, suggest to review the Tee component to be sure the SIF specified is correct. The highest SIF values between the Tee dialog and "Joint Type and User SIF" will be used during the analysis.
Finally, as of AutoPIPE 2024, this warning message will continue to be included in the Model Consistency Check report. The only way to eliminate it is to ensure that there are no locations in the model that have 4 or more pipes connected to a single node.
