Problem:

The following is displayed when performing a model consistency check report:

W2143-76:Friction scale factor is zero. Friction at all supports will be ignored for following analysis set

Why is that and how to Avoid it?

Solution:

The problem is by running a non linear analysis there is another dialog screen that appears with some additional settings as shown below:

Press OK button above cause the following screen to appear:

If the friction value is 0.00 the warning above is displayed. Otherwise the warning is removed.
