Important notice to users of Bentley's OpenFlows Hydraulic Modeling Software (WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, HAMMER, SewerCAD, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, CivilStorm, PondPack, CulvertMaster, and FlowMaster)
Dear Valued Bentley Users:
Bentley's OpenFlows water modeling software allows users to confidently plan, design, build, operate, and maintain smart and resilient water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Our offerings have always been intentionally flexible to allow users to choose from among a wide range of capabilities. However, we've received feedback that the many different product offerings and tiers can be confusing. We've also been asked for insight into our product roadmaps and future plans, as well as for more clarity and transparency around our billing and licensing administration.
We heard you!
Based on this feedback, we are pleased to announce improvements in our water offerings that will better serve your critical business needs.
Effective July 1, 2024, Bentley will be consolidating several products within our OpenFlows software solution, simplifying the array of separately available licenses. While this change will affect the naming, licensing, and pricing of the products you use, it will not result in the removal of any feature functionality. This consolidation will, however, result in the following benefits for accounts:
In addition to all the benefits outlined above, we expect this consolidation will enable Bentley to increase the pace of innovation for each platform.
Please see the chart below for a quick guide to what's included in the new products.
If you are working on both water and wastewater projects, the OpenFlows WorkSuite provides added savings to access both OpenFlows Water and OpenFlows Sewer (applies to Virtuoso subscriptions only). In addition, Bentley's Hydraulic tools have been consolidated into one toolset. To learn more about the value of the new OpenFlows products, refer to the news advisory posted on the OpenFlows community site.
