What Entitlements or Permissions are needed to Accept the Invitation?

No Entitlements or Permissions are required to Accept an Invitation to Collaborate with Deliverables Management.

Accepting Invitation

If you have received an email invitation from a user in another organization to collaborate on a project, follow the next steps to get started.

• From the email invitation, click View invitation.

• In your web browser sign in with your credentials (if required).
• In the Accept invitation page, you have three options:

1. Accept invitation to automatically create an Infrastructure Cloud design project

The project Number will be the same as the inviting project plus three letters from your organization.

 

2. Decline invitation

3. Select Advanced Options Select an Existing project or Register a new project with specific project details

4. 1. Select Accept and select a registered project - if you have an existing Infrastructure Cloud Design project that you want to use for collaboration with the inviter

Select an existing project and click on Accept

5. 2. Select Accept and register a new project - or if you want to create a new project, but you need to edit project details before accepting the invitation.

You will be presented with a Project Creation Wizard where all the data will be pre-populated, but you can modify as desired.

• Enter the required fields Project Number and Project Name, and click on Next

• Enter Billing Information, and click on Next

• Enter Datacenter location and click on Create Project

You are now ready to use Bentley Infrastructure Cloud portal to manage your contractual communication, review and accept design deliverables and collaborate by securely sharing documents throughout your supply chain.

Accessing the project

Once you accept the invitation to collaborate with Deliverables Management and register or select the project you will use, the system will open said project.

Entitlements and Permissions

Although to accept the invitation and register or select a project you don’t need entitlements or permissions, you will need them to Access the project.

By default, all external users that are invited to collaborate via Deliverables Management need to bring their own license to use the system.

The inviting organization may decide to cover the costs for the invited organizations’ project participants.

Bring Your Own License

• Entitlements granted by their organization
  • Users with entitlements granted by their organization will access the project with those entitlements.
• Practitioner License
  • Users with Practitioner License will access the project with their own license
• No Entitlements / License
  • Users with no entitlements will not be able to access the project.

Inviting Organization Cover Costs for the invited organizations’ project participants

If the inviting organization selects to cover the costs for users on your organization’s project, those users will consume a Manage entitlement for the project used to collaborate with Deliverables Management and will get Manage permissions.
