Reality Data are created from sensors & software with limited if no human intervention and represents the real world in a way that is very close to human perception. The generated data types are: Point Clouds, Reality Meshes, OrthoImages, 3D Images / GeoPhotos (i.e. photos of the real world with a notion of geolocation, from a simple location to a fully defined 3D pose with rotation).
You can link Reality Data to the project from under Administration > Reality management tile.
If you already have access to PW ContextShare, click Import to import an existing reality data model.
- Search for the desired Reality data.
- Select the Reality data.
- Click Import.
This will make the Reality Data available for all iModels in the project.
If the Reality Data has been processed and is web-ready, it will be highlighted as a blue link and upon selection will open the model in the iModel viewer.
To create a new Reality Data, the best practice is to use iTwin Capture Import & Upload tool.

Additional Options
The Delete option permanently deletes the selected Reality Data model.
It will give you a warning before doing so, with a list of all projects that are associated with it.
The Info icon shows information about the selected Reality Data.
The fields in the Metadata section can be edited by clicking the Edit icon.

The Settings icon provides the following options.
Share an idea - Lets you create enhancement requests.
Report a Problem - Lets you file a service request with Bentley Technical Support
Help - Provides a link to the Communities site with links on managing Reality Data permissions.
