The Context Menu

Hovering over the bottom-right corner of the an iModel tile will display a "3-dot" context menu.  Clicking on this icon will display options for interacting with the iModel.

The menu options will differ depending on whether the target is a "Connected iModel" (synchronised with Connectors), a Composite iModel (iModels from iModels) or an iModel created from a SYNCHRO Pro .SP file.

The options are:

Connected iModels

  • Manage Content
  • Manage Version
  • Export to IFC
    • Allows the user to export the iModel to any of several supported IFC formats.
  • Edit
    • Allows the user to update the iModel title\description, and tile image.
It also allows the user to edit the iModel display extents using the iTwin Spatial Editor.
  • Set Access
    • Allows for hiding the iModel from specific roles. (Note there are only 3 entitlement roles in the current implementation).
  • Delete
    • Deletes the iModel.

Composite iModels

These iModels have the "Composite" tag\badge displayed in the iModel tile image

The context menu for Compsite iModels is essentially the same as for Connected iModels, with two exceptions:

  • Run Transform
    • Re-runs the Composite transform configuration
  • Manage Content
    • Takes the user to the Connections Page. This is very similar to the Connected connections page except that the user can not alter the configuration.
However, the user can review ther transformation reports and re-run the configuration.

iModels from SYNCHRO .SP files

These iModels have the "4D" tag\badge displayed in the iModel tile image.

The context menu for 4D iModels is essentially the same as for Connected iModels, with the exception of an additional entry to download the .SP file.
