Manage Project Details

Manage Project Details

Introduction

When you Register a Project, you will set some project attributes such as Project Number, Project Name, Time Zone, Datacenter, Billing Country, etc. Some of these attributes are required at project creation and others are optional.

At any time, you can modify all project attributes except for Datacenter.

Projects can be Make Available as Template, so when you Create a new Project, you will be able to select this one as template. The project can be Removed from Template if it is not needed anymore.

Projects can be Deleted if that is desired.

If the intention is to align an existing project with a template, it can be done through Project Re-Provision.

By default, external users must Bring their Own License when they are added to a project. Project Owners may decide to Provide Licenses for external participants.

If the project is configured to provide licenses for external participants, these participants will be granted ProjectWise Manage entitlement permissions. Charges associated with external participant usage will be attributed to the ProjectWise Subscriber's Organization.

This setting does not affect Inviting External Organizations to Collaborate through Deliverables Management. In this case users must Bring their Own License.
