Importing Components
OpenGround components are typically provided as .hbt or .hbc files:
- To import .hbt files (templates), follow the instructions here.

Additional Examples in Configuration Packs
Our standard configuration packs are regularly updated with new components that may not be listed individually on this page.
Some examples within the standard configurations may also contain additional functionality that was removed from the standalone components to maintain compatibility across different configurations.
You may wish to refer to the standard configuration packs for more complete or advanced examples.

Troubleshooting and Modifying Component Examples
We aim to publish component examples that work across both new and legacy configurations, but some customization may be required for your specific setup - especially when extracting components from newer configuration packs.
Common Issue:
A template references a Group or Header (directly or within an expression) that doesn’t exist in your configuration.
How to Diagnose and Fix:
- Open the template in Template Studio.
- Preview the template.
- Click on any error Message to highlight the object causing the issue.
- To fix:
- Update the object's properties to match your configuration, or
- Use Design>Reset to remove the object from the template.
