How to use Smart Pointers between Text and Well Graphics (example diagram)


Let’s say you have a Well Diagram (graphic) column and Well Details (text) column describing the well graphics. Between these two you want to have pointers, that is, a pointer between the text and the graphic it describes. Below is an example:

1. Backfill Data Entry and Template Studio settings

The above Well Diagram was created with the following Template Studio Settings for Backfill.

The “Description” header (field) is used on both the smart pointer and the text object.
