Within the Line Style Manager, you can Add, Edit or Delete Line Style sets. It is accessed via the Line Style Sets Icon on the System Ribbon in Template Studio.
A Line Style set is a recurring set of line types that can be used on grouped datasets. You must also set up a Line Style Set for any line you want to use on a single data series, including a “none” option.
If a recurring Line Style set is used on a single data series then the first value in the set will be used.
The Line Style Set method is best described with an example.
Line Style Set 1 · Black Line · Red Line · Pink Line · Orange Dotted Line · Black Dashed Line
|
Line Style Set 2 · Green Line
|
If Line Series Set 1 were used for a Lab Test chart that was grouped on Location ID then each Location would have a different Line Style as shown below. If Line Style Set 2 was used, then the same Line Style would be used for all locations.
Line Style Set 1 · BH1 - Black Line · BH2 - Red Line · BH3 - Pink Line · BH4 - Orange Dotted Line · BH5 - Black Dashed Line · BH6 - Black Line · BH7 - Red Line · BH8 - Pink Line · BH9 - Orange Dotted Line · BH10 - Black Dashed Line |
Line StyleSet 2 · BH1 - Green Line · BH2 - Green Line · BH3 - Green Line · BH4 - Green Line · BH5 - Green Line · BH6 - Green Line · BH7 - Green Line · BH8 - Green Line · BH9 - Green Line · BH10 - Green Line

Line Style Sets can be added and edited using the “Add” or “Edit” button on the Line Set Manager (as shown below)
Each Line Style Set has the following properties: Name, Description, and a set of Line Styles. These are shown in the Line Set Manager form as shown below.
To create a “None” Style set create a new set called “none” with a single line style with a “None” pattern (as shown above)
