1. Open the required project and select 'Import Data' from the 'Data' ribbon:

2. Select the format of the file, click 'Add' and browse through the file:

Click 'Next'.

3. If there are no issues continue 'Next' until the 'Plan' stage is presented:

4. Review the figures displayed in the Plan stage to confirm the changes which will be applied.  Additions are rows of new data and Updates are potential changes to rows of data.  Click 'Next' to continue.

5. Click 'Finish' and allow the project to refresh to display the data.
