Produce a Site Plan


  1. Open the map using one of the following methods:
    1. Right click a line from the 'Location Details' grid and select 'Zoom on map' from the context sensitive menu.
    2. Select 'Open Map' from the 'Mapping' ribbon.
  2. Click “Setup” to start the site plan process:

  1. The dropdown selects the template “Landscape A4” for example.
  2. Set the scale using 1:XXX factor (5,000) in this example.
  3. The map will change to highlight the area to be included on the site plan.
  4. “Lock to Map” allows you to move the site plan location, this will always re-lock when you preview or generate your site plan.
  5. Create your Site plan: “Preview” is quicker and at a lower resolution while “Generate” is higher resolution more suitable for final products.
  6. Both methods allow saving a final product within OpenGround, to PDF as well as adjusting options based on the template chosen and the configuration pack.
