The Clone function is designed to help where the follow-on setting.  It allows a user to copy a whole header from one section to another.  In this way a header or footer can be migrated from the first page to the follow-on page or vice versa:

To use this function:

1. Select the Clone option in the ribbon.

2. Select the relevant section, header or footer.

3. Specify the option which indicates the direction in which you'd like to apply the copy - First to Follow on or Follow on to First.

A warning reviewing the changes that are to be made will then appear:

Note that this will change all of the grids contents for that section, including the dimensions. If you wish to edit this afterwards then return to the Template Setup dialogue to make adjustments as necessary.
