Installation

Power BI application must be installed first from the following Microsoft Downloads site: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494

OpenGround Power BI Connector can be installed & launched from the OpenGround Launcher.

Supported Power BI version:

If you are using the Microsoft Store version, you will have to update your OpenGround Launcher version from the Bentley Software Download.

The Web version of Power BI is not supported.

Troubleshooting

If the OpenGround Connector does not work, then check the security settings and ensure the following option is selected as this release of the Power BI OpenGround Connector is not certified yet.

 

Uninstall OpenGround Power BI Connector

To uninstall the connector, navigate to the following folder : '%userprofile%\Documents\Microsoft Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors'

Now delete: 'Bentley.OpenGround.PowerBI.mez'
