A Dynamic Text item is used to allow for extra data to be input by the user when the log is generated. For example, it may be necessary for a user to type in comments about a section in the header area. These are used to populate the parameters in the OpenGround Cloud application when producing a quick section, quick log or site plan output.
- Select the cell where you want to insert the Dynamic Text
- Double-click the Dynamic Text on the Tree View on the left hand side of the screen
- Enter the values as necessary:
- Initial Value - This is the default value that will be shown if the user does not edit the cell on log production.
- Key - This is what the cell is called and is used to tell the user which cell this information will be linked to.
