The Data Browser supports a Find and Replace option to quickly make changes to multiple rows and/or feature properties.  However, it's important to note, that you must choose Search selected cells to restrict this operation to only those cells you have highlighted. 

Without this option enabled, you run the risk of changing all properties matching the contents of the Find field and this will occur when you have a selection of cells or not.
