Problem: Need to Export 3D to 2D in Bentley Map PowerView V8i

Solution: Since many of the 3D commands are not present in Bentley Map PowerView V8i you can use the Merge Into Master command to create a 2D file from the 3D elements.  The steps you need to take are

1. Create a 2D seed file, replicating all of the settings, working units, and coordinate system properties of the source 3D file

2. Open the 2D seed file and Reference the source 3D file

3. Open the References dialog box and select the Merge Into Master command, and execute it.

The result will be a 2D file representing the 3D data from the source file.
