Using an Environment Variable so when attaching a raster image it will not matter if a different share drive letter is used when the DGN file with a raster image attached is opened by another user.

Background

When attaching a raster image an Environment Variable will be used as the folder path, which will show the UNC path instead of the folder path.

Steps to Accomplish

1.)  Define Environment Variable in Workspace > Configuration

2.)  Raster Manager > File > Attach

3.)  Attach Raster Reference

 4.)   Select raster image

If MicroStation and Descartes are used or if custom userspaces are used then the Environment Variable must be defined in both MicroStation and Descartes and all custom userspaces that are used. The Environment Variable will only be valid in the userspaces that the Environment Variable was defined.
