Labelling coordinates using the Bentley Map Alternate Coordinate System

( the functionality formerly known as 'Reference Labels')

With the advent of MicroStation V8i GeoGraphic Coordinate System (GCS) capability via the Auxiliary Coordinate System (ACS) interface, the Reference Labels option of the input/readout dialog has been removed from Bentley Map V8i releases.

The following steps outline labeling with the Bentley Map Alternate Coordinate System*.

  1. launch the input/readout dialog: DIALOG GCOORD INPUT
  2. select the 'Alternate' Coordinate System via the input/readout dialog
  3. label the desired point: GCOORD REFERENCE LABEL

* The Bentley Map Alternate coordinate system definition is separate from the MicroStation V8i Auxiliary Coordinate System
