Problem
Fill associated with an element is only visible when “Pan View” is active
This issue can be found when XFM features are associated with elements in the design, generally you’ll find these in files originated in Geo applications (example: Shape files “.SHP”)
Solution
To solve this issue, we can update the file’s original format, for example from DGN V7 to DGN V8. With this we are reestablishing the element’s attributes causing the issue.
1. Save the file as DWG.
2. Open the resulting DWG.
3. Export to 2D (DGN)
The issue should be gone in the resulting file, showing the Fill in the polygonal shapes.
