Problem:

How to get Bentley On-site Admin rights?

Solution:

Bentley cannot grant users with On-Site Administrator, Co-Administrator, or Group Administrator rights and privileges. We would need to get written permission from an existing Bentley On-Site Admin that it is OK to grant specific permissions to a specific person.

Therefore Bentley would send an email from Bentley to an existing account On-Site Admin, who would then reply to that email granting permission for said person(s) to become an On-Site Admin, Co-Admin, or Group Admin.

Otherwise, please call Bentleypress option 3 for Licensing, Account Administration and Invoicing and then option 2 for Login/Password. This queue will assist users with management issues.

Administrator Procedure:

1. Please log a Bentley Service request

2. Provide Information:

a. Account ID

b. Person Name(s) - First and Last name

c. Person Email Address (s)

d. Roles to be granted:

3. Written permission indicating that the above people are to be granted the given roles.

Non-Bentley On-site Admin Procedure:

1. Please log a Bentley Service request

2. Indicate that you are interested in updating your status to Admin, Co-Admin, or Group Admin

3. Provide name of existing Bentley On-site administrator(s) currently listed on your account that we should contact asking permission to update your status.

See WIKI here to find who is your Bentley On-Site Admin

4. Request that you be CC on all communications with your Bentley On-Site Admin as to be informed of SR status.

5. After submitting the SR, the next available Bentley person in the User Management group will review your account to confirm On-Site Admin credentials, and email them asking for written permission to update your status as indicated above.
