Problem:

AutoPipe Results> Code stresses floating dialog shows the Max Expansion Stress to be 4785 psi on the screen.

However, the output report shows 2 stresses (+ /- side) for that node point, one of which has a higher stress of 5004 psi

Which value is correct?

Solution:

The CAE development team has confirmed there is a problem on the floating results dialog for displaying the highest value stress between +/- side (up stream / Down stream) of a node point for bend mid point . The output report and results grids are correct.

This has been logged under CAE-TR-11039.

In addition, interactive scan and result grids does not support intermediate stress results. Only the Text Report support these results, which is one reason for the differences in results between the interactive results, grids and reports (Enhancement 101313). AutoPIPE v12.06 help was updated with "Intermediate stress results are not supported for Result Grids (Result > Interactive > Result Grid) and Interactive Scan (Result > Interactive > Code Stresses)"

Also the result grids and exported MDB will be updated to report the intermediate stress points similar to batch report.
