What does the Object comparison plugin do?
eB objects can be compared with the similar objects to find the differences.
If the document has multiple revisions, you can select which revision you want to select files from, this allows you to compare versions of a file between revisions.
Installation
The Object Comparison Plugin must be selected while deploying the website.
How to use it
After installing Object comparison plugin you should be able to see the option in the task pane.
Option 1
- Open the object report by search or by click on the navigator
- Click on Compare reports section of the task pane
- Comparison reporter will be displayed.
- Enter the Document or the Object details to compare with.
- You can set the Highlighting Style Drop-Down Menu to 'Line Out Removals ''Red/Blue/Green''
- If you Check ‘Hide unchanged properties' column then it will show only the changed sections in the report.
- Click on 'Generate Report.'
- It will Display the difference between the two objects.
