Which AutoPLANT project versions are supported with OpenPlant Isometrics Manager V8i when isometrics are generated from inside of AutoPLANT?
Only AutoPLANT V8i SS5, SS6, SS7, SS8 project versions are supported when generating Isometrics from inside of the AutoPLANT Modeler application using Bentley® OpenPlant Isometrics Manager V8i SS5, SS6.
For any Pre-V8i SS5 version AutoPLANT project, user will have to follow below procedure:
- Upgrade the Pre-V8i SS5 project to V8i SS5, SS6, SS7, SS8 using 'Upgrade from Base' (in case of Pre-V8i projects) or 'Upgrade from Integrity Check Results' from Bentley® Project Administrator (please refer to Bentley® Project Administrator documentation for more details on upgrading projects).
- Expand the project node in Bentley® Project Administrator, right-click at 'OpenPlant Isometrics' node and select 'Enable for OpenPlant'.
User may now use the project to generate Isometrics from inside of AutoPLANT.
Which AutoPLANT project versions are supported with OpenPlant Isometrics Manager V8i when generated from outside of AutoPLANT?
AutoPLANT V8i SS8, SS7, SS6, SS5, SS4 and SS3 project versions are supported when generating Isometrics from outside of AutoPLANT Modeler. User will connect Bentley® OpenPlant Isometrics Manager V8i SS5, SS6 to the project and generate Isometrics directly through Bentley® OpenPlant Isometrics Manager V8i SS5, SS6.
Note that user will first have to enable the project to be usable with Bentley® OpenPlant Isometrics Manager V8i SS5. SS6. To achieve that, expand the project node in Bentley® Project Administrator, right-click at 'OpenPlant Isometrics' node and select 'Enable for OpenPlant'.
Once the above step has been done, the user can load the project in Bentley® OpenPlant Isometrics Manager V8i SS5, SS6 and generate the Isometrics directly.
