To reclaim deleted/old Text Node in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.

Background

While customizing the seed file for a project, placing the text node might create difficulties by giving incremental nodes, say 61, 62, 63, etc. and placing previous node like 61 again, if it got deleted due to some reasons. To reclaim the same node number in seed file, below steps would help to achieve. This Can be considered using both OpenPlant Modeler & AutoPLANT Modeler. Below has been described using OpenPlant Modeler & OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.

  2. From Configuration dialog box, Click on "Open Seed file" from ‘Advanced’ option. See image below.

  3. Use Key-in command, available in ‘Utilities’ option.

  4. Enter Value NN=61. If this is the desired value. See Image below.

  5. Press ‘ENTER’.

  6. Start Placing text node. It will again start the counting from Node 61.

Note- Please take care about placement, due to default scale setting it might appear short and negligible. See image below.

  7. Other attributes may be controlled through commands like Line Length (LL), Line Spacing (LS), Level (LV), and Font name (FT).
