Overview

For OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, scale for DWG output sometimes needs to adjust by settings it from seed file. It can be experienced using both OpenPlant modeler and AutoPlant Modeler.

Problem Description

In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, the seed file for outer drawing frame size is 594x420mm. While generating the isometrics, drawing in Sheet view has its frame smaller i.e. 420x297mm by showing the difference of seed file and the isometric file by1: 1,428571 scale difference. Scale can be set using Sheet view properties and by selecting the required paper size. Below steps will provide the detail information.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.

  2. Open Configuration Manager.

  3. Under Advanced node, click on seed file.

  4. From dialog below go to Sheet view and Open it.

  5. Open Reference Dialog from File Menu and click on Isoseed. Set the Scale to 1:1 as shown in below image.

  6. Frame size will get increased. Right click on Sheet view and select ‘Properties’.

  7. Set the Sheet size to ISO A2 (594X420) and select OK.

  8. Adjust the sheet size on frame by Move reference command using context menu.

  9. Save settings (Ctrl+F) and close the seed file.

  10. Generate an Isometric and verify results by checking the dimension for both Model and sheet view sizes.
