Problem Description
In drawing a P&ID many times after placement of Control Valves with Actuators the physical Actuator has to be changed. How does one do this? The OpenPLANT PID interface allows the users to make complete actuator change from one type to another and can also change the Actuator Angle itself via the Element Information Dialog as outlined below:
- Select the component and select the Element Information Dialog. In the General Information section change the component's "Actuator Display Label". This will change the Actuator itself as shown below:
