Overview

OpenPlant Isometrics Manager missed the label spools when processing multiple isometric and thus mixes the spool labels from different sheet in to one isometrics. Below explanation will resolve the problem

Problem Description

In User’s customized environment, spool label and Spool number has been defined in OpenPlant modeler schema and is further used in OpenPlant Isometrics manager. When processing the multiple isometrics, the behavior is different and it places the spool label in random order and also adding spool labels from different sheets. See image below:

Below are the steps to make changes.

Steps to Resolve

  1. In Class editor, Open ‘OpenPlant_3D.01.04.ecschema.xml’ and supplement it with ‘OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.04.ecschema.xml’ schema.

Above schema can be found by navigating below project path :
    C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlantModelerV8i\WorkSpace\Projects\ UserProject\DataSet\Schemas

  2. Locate Spool Label Property on Device class.

  3. Set ‘ Is calculated as default value only’ to ‘True’ like shown in below image.

Note: By setting it as TRUE, the property value will be calculated once.

  4. Save & close schema.

  5. Generate isometrics and verify results. See image below.
