Problem:

The following is displayed when I am inserting a bend in my model:

---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
E732-2: Angle is 180 deg. at bend A11
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

How to resolve the issue ?

Solution:

Typically this message is displayed when the user actually enters a direction that is directly back in the same axis direction as the previous run. Remember how AutoPIPE segments are built, establish an origin point in space, and then providing DX, DY, DZ, coordinate offsets to the next node point. In this case, the model was built by entering the next node point directly back on the exiting segment already built. Or think if it as building a actual piping system with small sections of pipe between node points, how can one place a pipe backwards into the pipe that has just been attached? Answer, you cannot actually accomplish this in real life, and this is the way that the software warns the user.

Example:

1. Insert New segment, start point : DX= 0.00, Dy=0.00, Dz=0.00 (node A00)

2. Insert pipe run, Dx = 5.00 ft (node A01)

3. Insert Bend, Dx = 5.00 ft.(node A02)

4. Insert pipe, Dx = -3 ft. (node A03) press OK button and Error above appears.

Avoidance:

Enter any direction offset for the offending node point than directly back in the same direction as the existing piping.

Example:

Option #1:Delete node point A02, and then continue modeling the pipe segment

Option #2: In step #4 above, modify node point offset, DX= -3.00, Dy=5.00, Dz=0.00, thus providing a direction other than the axis of the existing piping.

Option #3: If the user needs to insert a new node point between A01 and A02, when inserting node point A03, modify run diallog setting "Add Point Before/After" from After to Before. To continue modeling the segment, make A02 the current node point and insert the next node point offset coordinates.
