Problem:
The following message appears in AutoPIPE Vessel, how to avoid it?
Error message #98 GEOMETRY : Unable to design geometrical plate layout without interference
Solution:
About error message #98 GEOMETRY : Unable to design geometrical plate layout without interference:
This message occurs when the program is not able to position a weld between two cylindrical shells while respecting the constraints given by the user.
The maximum length for a cyl. shell is 2500 mm but some Nozzles have a diameter larger than 2500 mm.
To solve the issue:
a. Increase the maximum plate width
or
b. Not perform the "Collision Check":
Note: Be careful. There is an error in Nozzle Properties Dialog for Nozzle N1:
Don't select "Flange P. Max" when there is no flange on the Nozzle, this will cause a crash during the calculation.
