Problem:

Nozzle report is given as "Set-on" although "Set-in" was selected in AutoPIPE Vessel, why?

Solution:

The Set-In / Set-On choice from the GUI has no influence on the Calculation at this time. From the calculation, any nozzle from Air Cooler vessel are considered as Set-On. When implementing this feature, most manufacturer would never use a set-in type nozzles because the header wall (flat head) thickness was generally too thick for a full penetration weld as required for a set-in nozzle.

A new enhancement has been logged to allow the Set-In/Set-On calculation following the GUI selection (908493).
