How to Modify Valve Operator Label to Show Description

Problem Description

In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, by default Valve Operator label shows EC_CLASS_NAME (as shown below) of the operator in the isometric but user want to display the description instead of class name on the isometrics for valve operator.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Launch class editor and load OpenPlant_3D schema.

  2. Supplement it with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Isometrics_IsoExtractor schema.

  3. Go to VALVE class and modify the Expression in Specific BOMLabels custom attribute as shown below. You need to replace GetClass().Name with DESCRIPTION.



  4.  Save the changes in schema and launch OPIM.

  5. Generate Isometric again and check the operator label in generated isometric.
