Error on Loading I-model from Managed Workspace in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager

Problem Description

Below error shows up when loading I-model from Projectwise managed workspace in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.

This error message usually appears when I-model is loaded from different location than default location.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Launch Projectwise Administrator.

  2. Login to the datasource and go to Workspaces>Managed>Project.

  3. Select the project CSB and add below variable into the configuration block.

    OPIM_IMODEL_DIRECTORY



  4. Set the projectwise path in the value. It should point to the folder where I-models have to be loaded from.



  5. Save the changes and re-launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager with Managed Workspace.

  6. Load the I-model from the defined folder.

Still a Problem

If there is still some problem and you cannot connect to OpenPlant Isometrics Manager after trying the above suggestion, then please create a Service Request and contact Bentley Product Advantage group along with the list of all relevant details to get in depth analysis and for possible solution or workarounds.
