Problem

 User encounters this error when performing a TMA upgrade, at the Apex stage:
               APPLICATION 101 - TMA Reports
               Set Credentials...
               Check Compatibility...
               API Last Extended:20090112
               Your Current Version:20090112
               This import is compatible with version: 20090112
               COMPATIBLE (You should be able to run this import without issues.)
               Set Application ID...
               Declare
               *
               ERROR at line 1:
               ORA-20001: Package variable g_security_group_id must be set.
               ORA-06512: at "APEX_030200.WWV_FLOW_API", line 48
               ORA-06512: at "APEX_030200.WWV_FLOW_API", line 246
               ORA-06512: at line 16
Replication Steps: Perform TMA upgrade after taking copy of database.

Solution

 Usually this is because the copy of the database has been installed on a machine where Apex hasn't been installed yet, or the IM4 workspace is missing.  Instructions for doing these are in the install guides.
