Problem
User has changed the database server which holds the main exor database. This has stopped notices being sent or received.
Solution
When you change the database server name or IP address then the web service needs to be redeployed. This has to be done as Oracle embeds the database server name/IP address within many of its components.
The cleanest way to do this and avoid many potential problems is:
1 – Stop Oracle via OPMN
2 – Remove Oracle completely using the Uninstall feature on the main Windows programs menu
3 – Delete the Oracle directory structure
4 – Restart the server
5 – Check all Oracle directories have been removed
6 – Re-install Oracle as per the install guides
7 – Re-install the exor web service as per the install guides
