Problem:
How to add a skirt to a vessel?
Solution:
Adding Skirt to Vessel: Follow the steps given below
Select the vessel and select Split
Select the bottom portion and split vessel again.
Delete the bottom end of the vessel
Select the bottom portion as indicated above, and select insert Component Data, set to Skit, shown below:
Now Select the next section
Modify Component Properties to be an Elliptical head, shown below:

Note that when converting shell to skirt in previous step above, an anchor and skirt was added. At this point select the anchor at the bottom of the skirt:
On the Support Properties dialog, update the Geometry Base Plate Width [A] dimension as needed. In addition, under Design Conditions, change Selected Standard as required and press OK button.
Adding Skirt Opening:
Open the Skirt properties by double clicking on the Skirt from component list.
Enter the Access Hole properties from Skirt Component Properties>Skirt Arrangements, Refer snap below
Then you will see the skirt opening is added as access hole.
