Question:

How to Import Nozzle Loads from AutoPIPE

Answer:

Import Nozzle Loads from AutoPIPE

    1. From AutoPIPE Vessel, select Import > Local Loads on Nozzles from AutoPIPE to display the Open dialog.



    2. Navigate to the xml file exported from AutoPIPE, then press Open to display the Local Loads on Nozzles from AutoPIPE message dialog.



    3. Press OK to erase the local loads on the existing Nozzles in the AutoPIPE Vessel model.
    4. The Local Loads on Nozzles from AutoPIPE dialog displays.



    5. Press OK.

Note:

Values shown in AutoPIPE Vessel are due to both nozzle orientation and unit conversion. In this example, Nozzle is in the top position to simplify orientation changes. Then considering only unit conversions, results are correct as shown below:
