What file formats can AutoPIPE Vessel import?
AutoPIPE Vessel can save a model as different file types using:
1. File > Open> command:
a. AutoPIPE Vessel Data (*.emvd)
b. AutoPIPE Vessel Project specification (*.empd)
2. Import> command:
a. PDS to AutoPIPE Vessel - (*.noz)
b. Structural Clips - (*.doc) or (*.xls)
c. Piping Clips - (*.doc) or (*.xls)
d. Local loads on Nozzles - (*.doc)
e. AspenTech to AutoPIPE Vessel - (*.edr) or (*.taf)
f. HTRI Xchanger to AutoPIPE Vessel - (*.dbo)
g. Prosim EXCH to AutoPIPE Vessel - (*.xml)
h. Honeywell UniSim STE to AutoPIPE Vessel - (*.stef)
Note: as of Jan 2016, is not possible to import the geometrical data of a 3D model (Solidworks), please check back for future version ability
If a specific format is not listed above (i.e. ANSYS) AutoPIPE Vessel cannot import that type of file at this time. See the 2 available options:
1. use another application to convert your file into a format that is listed above for AutoPIPE Vessel to import.
2. Log a service request for the missing format to be imported. The more request for a feature, the quicker the feature will be added to the program.
