Problem
User is in ProjectWise and trying to View dwg and dgn file formats using Bentley View. Files are opening with their respective file formats such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD even though the user’s application associations in ProjectWise Administrator are set to View using Bentley View.
Solution
Bentley View in XM versions are not supported/integrated with ProjectWise XM Versions. Bentley Redline which is delivered with ProjectWise Explorer is the recommended Viewing Option for dwg and dgn file formats.
Note: Bentley View is supported/integrated with ProjectWise 2004 and V8i. If the user chooses Redline as the preferred method in ProjectWise V8i then it would require the use of Navigator.
