Finding information quickly in ProjectWise Web and ProjectWise Web View is key to being productive. There are several options to help users find the information they need to progress workflows or review and approve work. Here's an overview of the different ways to Search in ProjectWise Web. The same applies to ProjectWise Web View.

                   

Quick Search
Select Quick Search to search File Name, Document Name, Description, Version, Project Name and Project Description.

Full Text Search -  Requires PW WSG Plugin 3.4
Select Full Text Search to search text within documents and File Properties.

Advanced Search
Select Advanced Search to search on General Properties and/or specified Environment Attributes. This Advanced Search can be saved for future use.

 

Name your search and choose to save it for this connection, or all your connections.

Access My Advanced Searches

Saved Searches
Searches created and saved for global use in ProjectWise Explorer can be accessed in the folder navigation hierarchy. Simply choose the Saved Search you want to run and it appears in the grid panel.
