Why do I see a difference in pile capacity when seen in plot and when seen in listing file?

Solution

Let us walk through a case from a sample data as below.

Please check your reference Pile OD which is 106.7cm in the example, whereas your actual Pile OD as seen from the listing file is 152.4cm. Hence a ratio of 152.4/106.7 = 1.43 will be factored upon 59 MN. Also, an adjustment of Pile self-weight (1.59 MN in this case) will be done.

Consequently, the capacity reported = 1.43*59-1.59 = 82.67 MN.
