Problem Description:    

In Projectwise Web connections, Right click on a document to display Get link option. 

 

Choose “Get Link” and paste it to your email. 

Send the copied link to the project team members to access the document.  

When user clicks on the document link, the below options are available to open the link 

   

When choosing Projectwise Explorer as a destination for the link, the file does not open in Projectwise Explorer, and the following error is received. Last Error [112197] Cannot select item. Document version exists but is not in the list. 

 

Solution: 

The document was not available in the document list view because the user was not able to see all versions of the file.  This is due to the “show all versions” user setting being unchecked for the user. 

Toggled ON the "show all versions" for the users ProjectWise account. 

• Log in to ProjectWise Explorer with the user account having the issue. Go to Tools > Options > Settings > Document Display > and check on Show all versions then click okay. 
• If you are not able to see this setting in ProjectWise Explorer, then have the Projectwise Administrator make this change through the user settings in the ProjectWise Administrator tool for the user’s account.
