I have more than one equipment with different start/end RPM values. Could I implement the influence of them simultaneously in the same SACS model?
Engine vibration analysis utilizes a frequency domain solution to calculate the response for each load group. The maximum responses from each load group are linearly combined to give the total response. If different pieces of equipment are run at different speeds, they would need to combine the maximum responses using this method. In that case each engine vibration analysis may be performed independently and the maximum response from each analysis may be combined by hand. Alternatively, if the equipment is run at the same speed, the unbalanced forces for multiple joints may be applied as part of the same load group and the response will be combined in the frequency domain. Note that equipment run out of phase should be entered with different unbalance force profiles.
