I am trying to create a super element as per SACS manual sample problem 01. I have seastate loads in my model. When I check the original model with the retained +super element model, I find some discrepancies. How to address this issue?
First create an OCI file of the full model. Then split the model to the super element and the retained part, using the OCI file. This way all loads are basic loads (no SeaState generated loads).
We recommend converting all SeaState loads to basic loads by running the SeaState program first so you have a single OCI file for any model manipulation.
