How to troubleshoot the error “ERROR “X” IS AN ILLEGAL LOAD CASE SELECTION”?
Whenever you see a type of error like “ERROR “X” IS AN ILLEGAL LOAD CASE SELECTION”, that refers to a general analysis issue where during the time of analysis SACS is not able to find one or some or may be complete set of LOADCN/LCOMB which is mentioned in the LCSEL line. That means, the LCSEL line contains some loading numbers which are not present in the analysis model.
Please check the set of loading in LCSEL command and ensure that all the input files for the analysis have the loading mentioned in the LCSEL command. Thus, the error shall be rectified.
